Alone in the Ocean
These haystacks along the Oregon Coast are simply mesmerizing to me! The amount of wildlife that utilize them in their environment, to just the sheer vastness of them rising above the ocean waves. Truly a site to see.
Inlet of waves, crashing into the shore. I sat here for hours, just listening, watching and soaking it all in.
Washed ashore at another point in time.
Sometimes finding that perfect sunset shot takes the perfect timing. We had headed down the coast further south originally planning to stay for sunset at a new location. As that didn't pan out, we regrouped with just 45 minutes to spare. That spontonaeouty brought us here... and it was one magnificent sunset just standing on this beach, soaking up the last of the daylight this world had to offer us.
Another evening in Yachats, enjoying the waves as they crash into the rocky shore.
Crashing Into Your Soul
The sound of the crashing waves shakes you to your core. Near Yachats, Oregon. A beautiful day in October, fall temperatures in the air, whale watching season in full swing, it's a magical place.
Goodnight to the world. Moment of beauty from mother nature.

Bubbly Waves Reaching Shore
Watching the sun slide from behind the clouds, to cross behind the horizon. Another day lived.
Cannon Beach, Oregon
Around the corner, a road that takes you on a new journey. Oregon.
A stroll through the Columbia River Gorge.

Into the trees. A calm and cloudy day on the Oregon Coast. Heceta Head Lighthouse Beach.
Just as the sun dips on the Oregon Coast, the sky just lights up even more. Photographed in 2013 in Yachats, Oregon.
Spring time on the Oregon coast can make for some interesting weather. Two springs in a row, our visits to the Oregon Coast in April provided for some interesting textures unlike our visits any other time of year. The water on many rocky areas came crashing in with this milky appearance. Absolutely a unique experience!
A perfect walk from a city park, over a gorgeous river to land on a stunning Oregon beach.
This sunset in Yachats, Oregon was absolutely stunning. My recent trips to this same location have not produced nearly as gorgeous a sunset, so I often look back at this 2013 trip. Hoping to have another beautiful sunset trip to this location next year!
Lost in a mossy forest. I could walk through this forest and never want to leave. Oregon Coast, Pacific Northwest.
Along the Columbia River Gorge Highway, there's often amazing scenery around every corner. Tall mountains, sheer cliffs and steep rocky ledges. And among it all is the incredibly lush forest. Took a bit of a different take on this photo than my normal style but I really felt this deserved something different and unique.
