I couldn't help but share this photo despite it not being the most impressive composition. That sky was just too stunning not to share! It was a calm evening on the lake, just a few waves across the surface. No wind, and just a gorgeous flair of sunshine thrown into the sky as the sun settles behind the clouds on the horizon. Many think of Autumn as a time for bold and vibrant colors but the clouds that were present this day, and the chill in the air, called for a little less bold, and a bit more moody.

Every which way you turn or look, there's a gorgeous view up Provo Canyon, Utah. The steep granite cliffs tower over you as the river flows below. Nature at it's best right here in Utah.

Utah Lake, Utah. The sky was on fire this particular night, but it dipped so fast behind those clouds and mountains that you had to enjoy it for the few minutes the sky lit up.

It was a calm day on the lake, not much movement in the water, but just enough to create a few ripples. Mirror Lake, Utah.

Provo River just about a half mile up stream before it drops into the Upper Provo Falls. You could be driving so quick along the Mirror Lake Highway that you'd miss seeing this beutiful corner of nature. Uintah Mountains, Utah
