In The Distance
On a night where the clouds prevented a sunset photo of the red rock canyons of Bryce Canyon, a quick drive away from the canyons more to the trees gave way for this gorgeous moment.
After many weeks of fog, smog and total cloud cover, this 1 hour window of gorgeous sunlight during golden hour was a beautiful time. It was bitter cold, but it was worth it. Antelope Island, Utah.
No matter the number of times, no matter the number of sunsets, the sunsets are all unique and never two the same. Just before sunset at Antelope Island, Utah. Photographed 2015 by Kelly Rogerson.
Antelope Island at sunset; a beautiful scene to watch happen right before your own eyes.

Antelope Island looking back at the skyline of the city. Sometimes you go out to this island and it's too hazy to see back to the city at some times of the year. I'm always so amazed at the beauty that can come if you are patient and go at the right times, when storms are approaching and the air is clear.
